Forget all the ifs buts and maybes Moyes is a good manager and he's done a great job for us,end of story.

I thought I’d bump this bad boy up.

Let’s see if any of the doubters come back on.

Keep dreaming is the sort of person that wouldn’t be that upset if we lose tonight just so he can bump up this thread and bitch some more.

Re: Moyes..
I do think it's a realistic possibility what Keep dreaming is saying and we have to stop being so grateful for any season(s) where we actually compete....this is by no means a longterm project until Moyes proves he has the capability to sort out the importance of having a full in-depth squad to choose from......so far he's done the opposite and winged it....there's no future in that, but I'm hoping it's been for a very good reason.......

Re: Moyes..
Keep dreaming is the sites village idiot which is quite a statement considering other people who post on here.

He is just waiting for us to lose tonight then the “ I told you so’s “ will start flying about.

He isn’t West Ham. For those of us who have been supporting this club for 30/40/50 years we can fully appreciate how amazing the last 2 seasons have been.

Win, lose or draw I have enjoyed every second of this ride.

Re: Moyes..
Surely how he manages the squad and his transfers can only be judged by results.

If he was failing at managing the squad we'd be struggling.
We're 6th and fighting teams with huge budgets.

He'll probably be in the running for manager of the year (again) but some halfwits on WHO think they know better.

Re: Moyes..
Keep dreaming,

How long have you been supporting West Ham?

I feel like you are either a 10 year old child that has no grasp of our history and what’s gone on over the past 35 years and thus haven’t quite grasped that the past 2 years we have overachieved or you used to support West Ham between 1980-86 and have now recently come back.

Either way you’re comments just come across as stupid.

“ Moyes has and will continue to fail ”

Looks a league table
Looks at tonight’s fixture

Yup that’s one of the most retarded things I’ve seen posted in a while. Congratulations 👏🏻

Why is it that the least intellectually qualified posters on here perpetually tell everyone what they think will happen as if it's fact.

You've never made a post worth reading on here, you fucking moron. What a record.

Re: Moyes..
Moyes has and will continue to fail when it comes to transfers and how to use the squad.
He loves a small gelled squad. It will work fine mid table, but like in Everton he won fuck all.
When Rice fucks off in the summer, the wheels will fall off.

Manuel 7:27 Thu Apr 14
Re: Moyes..
I think to continue progression we need to stay in Europe, even if it's the conference.

nychammer 6:25 Thu Apr 14
Re: Moyes..
We are in a good place because of Moyes, luck on the injury front and a first 11 that have gelled pretty decently.

But it's a fragile situation with us. We don't have the brute force of endless money to throw at success. You get the feeling that we are never that far away from disaster as a club and we could easily return to that position of struggling to hang in if we lose key players or get an injury crisis. The loss to Brentford was a wake-up call - we cant sustain the pace without investement.

But this is about Moyes, and what a sterling job he has done indeed. We'd be mad to get rid if even we cant emulate this success every season, as I suspect we probably cannot. You can't buy what he's bought to us in a managerial sense, we just need to back him in the transfer market and there will be more good seasons than bad,

Yarmouth, you're an arse clown
Let's get rid and go fill good and get a Pellegrini possibly???
Piss off to Spurs
No one has come close to achieving what Moyes has you clown

Re: Moyes..
That's the thing, to be a top six side, you need money and lots of it. Until we're able at least try to keep up with the big boys, we need serious and consistent investment in the club.

Not just the 1st team squad, the Academy needs looking at too. We need to start attracting Europe's finest young talent, as Chelsea do so well.

Like Sir Alf, I've experienced many shit seasons where either we were fighting desperately to avoid relegation, getting relegated, doing poorly in the Championship/Div 2, getting knocked out of cups by lower league teams (sometimes hammered), etc.

These past two seasons have been a joy. Yes, the odd disappointment when we lose to clubs we shouldn't, but all clubs do that. Moyes is without doubt, the reason for this. He has his weaknesses, but don't we all, but I'd be very happy if he signed a 5 year contract tomorrow.

Sir Alf 1:14 Thu Apr 14
Re: Moyes..
I think we are not a top 6. club just yet either hand nor does Moyes who says we need to be qualifying for European competition every season. We may do it again this season but it’s not too hard to seeing us just fall short too.

So much work and building of a squad still needed just to consolidate getting in and around top 6 IMO

Capitol Man 1:09 Thu Apr 14
Re: Moyes..
Didn’t we go down the exact same route here a few years go.

Do many of you genuinely think we are a top-4 club at the moment?

Interestng interview with Moyes, bit long at nearly an hour but worth it, amongst other things on Man Utd “I wish I took the job 8 Years older"
